Tiff’s new Droid Incredible.
DigiTimes is reporting that first shipments of the CDMA version of the Nexus One have left HTC’s factory bound for the US. The handset is rumoured to be launching on the Verizon network on 24th March and will available to buy direct from Google’s phone store.
Beginning to think I should have sold my T-Mobile-ready version of the Nexus One on e-Bay and bought one with a contract from Verizon…
My Verizon contract is up in two weeks. I have a crappy enV2 and I have been very excited about getting a smart phone.
In November, I was confident I was going to jump ship and get an iPhone. Then the Droid came out of nowhere and I couldn’t have been happier. I could stick with Verizon and keep a 23% discount that Tiffany gets through her office AND the phone ran Android. I’m a bit of a Google fanboy.
Then just last week, Google released the Nexus One. Reviewers say it’s better than the Droid and will be available through Verizon, but not until “spring 2010.” So I’m going to try and sit tight until then.
I hate you enV2.
Verizon’s new DROID phone may be the answer that keeps me from leaving for AT&T. Early reviews from Engadget and Gizmodo both seem to agree the iPhone is still the no. 1 smartphone, but that the DRIOD is a hardcore no. 2.
Since Tiff gets a 20% monthly bill discount for family Verizon accounts as a perk through her office and I’m a bit of a Google fanboy (The DROID runs Google’s Android OS software), I may be all out of reasons to get an iPhone.
