New Jon Lajoie. This song’s just OK, but the banter after the song is pretty funny. And he has a Boston terrier mug during The League commercial at the end.
Jon Lajoie cast in FX sitcom about fantasy football
I haven’t been this excited about a sitcom since … um … OK, maybe never.
Comedian Jon Lajoie, who specializes in humorous songs and successfully promoted himself to prominence on YouTube, will be a supporting cast member for a new FX show called “The League.”
The league refers to a fantasy football league. Here’s a description straight from MovieWeb:
The League is a half-hour comedy about male friendship, marriage, parenting, suburbia, and growing up — or refusing to grow up — through a circle of friends involved in a fantasy football league. The ensemble cast includes Mark Duplass, Steve Rannazzisi, Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie, and Katie Aselton. Jeff and Jackie Marcus Schaffer serve as executive producers. The pilot was directed by Jeff Schaffer. Production on The League began [Sept. 21] in Los Angeles.
