Microsoft’s Internet Explorer seems to be back to its old ways.
As I originally discussed in this postback in April, IE has some problems showing the videos I embed into posts. Instead of showing the video box with the play button ready to go, it will show only a big blank white space with a text link to YouTube or Google, where the video is stored.
The videos appear to work fine on a machine running Windows XP and IE 7, but when I test them on my home machine, which uses Vista, the video problem occurs.

If you’re an individual that has been waiting for the 123rd reason to switch to Firefox for your Internet browsing, this may be what finally converts you.
Do you see all those broken links in the posts below? That means you’re still using IE and you’re not getting the full experience of this blog like your peers using Firefox.
I use Firefox on both my home and work machines, which is why I wasn’t aware of the problem until just now.
The problem originates from how IE handles embedded videos in a blog created using WordPress, the blogging program I use to create all these wonderful posts. And there appears to be no easy solution.
