
The Ohio State University’s Columbus campus was ranked the largest single campus in the nation with 53,715 students according to an article in The Lantern. This is the third-consecutive year the university held the distinction.
Arizona State University at Tempe came in at no. 2 followed by the University of Florida at Gainesville at no. 3.
For years I thought the University of Texas had the largest campus, but I guess the last time I heard anything on the subject was when I was IN college. Also, that statistic could have taken branches into account.
As an early entry to Miss Mug Shot 2008 from The Smoking Gun, this Florida woman has been arrested five times in the last 14 months.
Reasons for arrest have been drunk driving, pot possession and violating probation.
The 20-year-old was not identified by name on Smoking Gun, but has listed her occupation as “bartender” and “dancer.”

The U.S. News & World Report ranks The Ohio State University as the 57th-best college in the country, tying with Boston University.
As published in “America’s Best Colleges 2008,” OSU places 32 spots behind sports rival University of Michigan, which came in at 25, nine spots behind Pennsylvania State University at 48, eight spots behind the University of Florida at 49, and five spots behind the University of Miami at 52.
OSU Placed just ahead of Rutgers.
The good news?
OSU beat out both Miami University of Ohio (67) and Ohio University (112). So the next time a RedHawk or Bobcat tries to defend their sports program by supposed academic supremacy, you can now set them straight.
