Here’s my inspiration

Reading Stephenie Meyer’s personal account of how she imagined and then carried out the writing of “Twilight,” the first in a series of highly successful books about young vampires, makes me want to get off my ass and write a novel.

Her telling of the book’s creation isn’t even well written in my humble opinion. It makes me wonder what the story looked like before her editors got a hold of the first draft. And then makes me believe I could pull off creating a publishable story.

Just because something is publishable doesn’t mean it ever actually gets published, but I really think if I end up on my death bed without trying, I’ll have one major regret.

I’m going to have to read this book now.
