The Onion predicts ‘Joe the plumber’ scenario

This is great: The Onion in 1993 predicted the present day “Joe the Plumber” scenario. So if a fake news publication that specializes in writing absurd news creates an article that in the future actually happens, doesn’t that automatically prove the future incident is absurd?

I’m sure there’s some scientific formula in there somewhere.

A coworker just caught a store tag hanging out of the back of my sweater. I told him I was just representing Macy’s.

MediaMonkey review

After converting all my DRM-locked music from iTunes, I got to play around with MediaMonkey last night. I’m not impressed.

As a pure music manager, I think MediaMonkey is better than iTunes. It give you more options and tweekables that audiophiles will love. But that’s where it ends.

Men don’t pass attractiveness to sons

A recent study found attractive men don’t pass their good looks to their sons according to an article on Telegraph.co.uk.

Psychologists also say that an attractive mother makes no difference to the handsomeness of her son.

Attractive parents, however, DO influence the beauty of their daughters.

This is all fine by me. My ugly son can scare the boys away from my hot daughter. ;)
