Unbelievable. The economy is in the shitter, America’s children are dieing in Iraq, the collective world hates our country, we’re nearing the precipice of one of the most important elections in the history of the U.S. and this Columbus church is worried about gays. When I checked their Web site, it was down because of exceeded bandwidth.
Even more pathetic, in my opinion, was an NBC4 Columbus interview with the couple pictured right. The station was covering a McCain speech viewing party organized last night by Columbus Republicans. The woman in the picture said she supports McCain because she “believe(s) that marraige is one man one woman and I believe his family values really mirror our family valiues.” She also said she was pro life, but my god, talk about ignorance. You’re gonna vote for McCain because you don’t want gays to be married? Who efing cares?!? We have WAY bigger fish to fry in this country right now. After the last eight years, how is that even on her radar? I think her last name is Kipfler. If you hurry, you can find the video on this list. It’s titled “McCain Watch Party.”
Man, I drive by this church every day on my way to work. I saw that sign and it took everything I had not to go back and bust out my camera. You scooped me! Awesome!
