Tiff’s belated birthday present arrived yesterday afternoon and I’m totally envious. Yes, her birtday WAS back in May, but she has spent the last two-and-a-half months trying to find a work bag she liked. For the record, back then I took her out to dinner and an attempted shopping spree in which she didn’t find anything she wanted, so relax.
After she got lost driving around Ohio for work last week, our friend Derek suggesting that I buy her a GPS. We both thought it made sense.
I found a refurbished TomTom Go 720 from TigerGPS.com for $250. They’re normally $400.
I used the device yesterday evening on my way out to Roush Honda to get an oil change, and the thing is sweet. Granted, I in no way need a GPS because 98% of my driving is an eight-minute journey to work and back, but I like toys.
At least I’ll get to use it when we go out of town since I always drive. Maybe by then they’ll have a pornstar voice available for download.
