I finally made it to see The Dark Knight Sunday afternoon and Heath Ledger deserves every ounce of praise he has been receiving. His portrayal of Joker was amazing. Nevermind that he trumped Jack Nicholson’s performance back in the Keaton days, Ledger’s work exceeds any effort in a superhero movie. Ever.
The whispers of Oscar are legit. His performance was worthy, no matter his fate.

Tiff’s belated birthday present arrived yesterday afternoon and I’m totally envious. Yes, her birtday WAS back in May, but she has spent the last two-and-a-half months trying to find a work bag she liked. For the record, back then I took her out to dinner and an attempted shopping spree in which she didn’t find anything she wanted, so relax.
