The annual Columbus community festival, or Comfest, is this weekend and Weather.com calls for rain on Saturday, the festival’s most highly-attended day.
Tiffany and I planned on shooting down there on Saturday afternoon for a beer and some junk food and people watching. Baumann, Derrick and Jay both asked me if I were going already. But with the high probability of rain and the fact that I don’t live withing walking distance to the event anymore, I’m not so sure we’re going to make it. Without having a home base, the experience can be a pain in the ass.
We could probably take advantage of Jay and Mia’s place though. They still live down in Victorian Village.
The forecast on Friday and Sunday looks decent, but honestly the best part of Comfest is hanging out in the mid afternoon sun — not after 5 when works lets you out of the office. And on Sunday the party’s dieing down so you miss all the action. Actually, maybe that’s the perfect solution.
