Whenever I hang with B.A. over a weekend, we always overdo it on Friday night. We drink a little too much. We’ll stay up a little too late. We kick our own asses pretty well.
Then Saturday rolls around and we’re shot. Cause we’re old and we can’t hack it anymore.
Unlike usual, we actually got out of the house on Saturday this time. Not only did we bowl at the worst bowling alley this side of Illinois, we played Scrabble as a night cap.
Because everyone knows Scrabble is the best thing to play when you’re tired and brain dead.
I ended up winning thanks to a triple letter score on a Z and pluralizing two longer words with a single S tile, but playing the game was the opposite of fun.
After ending the game discussing whether M-U (as in the Greek letter) was an acceptable word (I’m guessing no), we all went to B-E-D.
