A film on Tom Petty’s more than 30-year career will be released Tuesday, Oct. 16, titled “Runnin’ Down a Dream.”

The 3-DVD, 1 CD set will be available only at Best Buy and includes the four-hour epic film “Runnin’ Down a Dream” by Peter Bogdanovich, the 30th-Anniversary live concert from Gainsville, Fla. and rarities and unreleased tracks from the film.
The film will be played for one night on Oct. 15 in theaters across the nation, but sadly none in Ohio. You can check out the constantly updated theater list via TomPetty.com here. You can also pre-order the movie through the site and have it shipped for free.
I already bought mine. Now I just have to schedule a vacation day for Oct. 17 and I’ll be all set.
