Little bit country.
A Columbus teenager will be featured tomorrow night on MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 according to The Columbus Dispatch.
Makahla Ross, a junior at Olentangy High School in Westerville, is an honor-roll student, cheerleader, volunteer for the school service club and tutor for middle-school students with learning disabilities. She’s also a dancer and model — the photo is from a national magazine ad she’s in for Warmbat Boots.
More importantly, she’s rich. Her parents own Ross Acres, a trail-riding horse ranch in Utica.
“I’m not bratty,” Ross said despite her social status. “I hope to be portrayed as the humble, but outgoing and fun, teenage girl who I am.”
Roughly 400 people attended the party at the Barn, a private country club northwest of Columbus.
The event featured topless cowboys who “arrested” attendees and threw them in “jail.” It sounds to me they stole that idea from Axis or Wall Street nightclubs. On a side note, Columbus has a gay bar called “The Closet.” That’s awesome.
Tune in Tuesday night at 10 p.m. to witness the shenanigans.
