Some socialites in Japan are gathering together for so-called “cannibal banquets” according to inventorspot.com.
A life-size, albeit very fake looking human body is set up on a table. The body is stuffed with edible goodies, all soaked with some sort of red sauce that is clearly meant to mimic blood. Sweet and sour sauce anyone?
It’s unclear whether the meal’s skin is edible or just meant as a container.

No word yet on whether the brain is made of lo mein or if the intestines contain general tso’s chicken and brown sauce.
Also in recent news from Japan, an arm wrestling video game had to be pulled from arcades across japan because the game was breaking people’s arms.
The game, titled “Arm Spirit,” has a “mechanized appendage” which reportedly broke the arm of three different people according to MSNBC.
Just pray that the video game’s arm doesn’t get its hand onto a gun. We’ve all seen Terminator.

Sweet and sour sauce is a product of Americanized Chinese food, as well as General Tso’s Chicken. Lo mein is also Chinese, not Japanese.
Japanese food would sound more like “ichigo daifuku” or “okonomiyaki”, often ending in vowel sounds.
