Microsoft’s Internet Explorer seems to be back to its old ways.
As I originally discussed in this postback in April, IE has some problems showing the videos I embed into posts. Instead of showing the video box with the play button ready to go, it will show only a big blank white space with a text link to YouTube or Google, where the video is stored.
The videos appear to work fine on a machine running Windows XP and IE 7, but when I test them on my home machine, which uses Vista, the video problem occurs.
Bear with me as I straighten out the problem.
I may switch my blogging software from WordPress to Movable Type,
which would bring a bit of change to the blog in the coming days/weeks.
Or if the solution is minor, you will not notice much change.
Everything works perfectly with Firefox, by the way. Go figure.
If you use IE, please let me know whether or not the video is working for you by leaving me a comment below or sending me an e-mail. They should play right inside each post.
