Similar to the eternal argument over which actor was the best James Bond, the debate over who was the best Bruce Wayne has been waged ever since Val Kilmer took the role of Batman over from Michael Keaton in “Batman Forever.”
Throw George Clooney and Christian Bale into the mix, who have starred as batman more recently, and the debate thickens. Not to forget Adam West, who played Batman in a 1966 movie.
Luckily, Cracked.com straightens it out for you and ranks the actors from five to one. It’s a good piece. And I agree with the rankings.
Speaking of a superhero, following last week’s blog post about the Lesbian Hot 100, Maxim has ranked the top-15 hottest women in comics. And as in their Hot 100 ranking of non-superhero women where Lindsay Lohan finished number one as the hottest female on the planet, I disagree with Maxim’s choice of Wonder Woman as the hottest female in comics.
Emma Frost, who ranked number two on Maxim’s list, is way hotter. And so is Jean Grey, otherwise known as Phoenix without even taking into account her literal hotness. But it all comes down two how the character is drawn, doesn’t it?
Wonder Woman, for example, looks hotter here and here than she does here. Emma Frost is hotter here, here and here than she is here and here. And Phoenix is more attractive here and here than here.
Elsewhere on the net, have you ever wondered what kind of accent you have? Most people can judge accurately, but this site will tell you after you answer a few questions.
I tested as a “Midland” accent. The graphic the site showed on my results had Cincinnati and Columbus right in the middle of it, so considering I grew up in Cincinnati and have lived in Columbus for the past 11 years, I’d say it was fairly accurate.
