Lesbian Hot 100 & The Gay Bomb

Leisha Hailey

Even chicks dig her.

Maxim Magazine thinks Lindsay Lohan is the hottest woman on the planet according to their 2007 Hot 100. And while I do not agree that this is the hottest woman on Earth, maybe us guys aren’t the best judges.

Perhaps other women know better than we do. And especially other women who are lesbians.

AfterEllen.com, a site dedicated to lesbian and bisexual women, has released its own version of the hot 100, this time as judged by lesbians.

The Lesbian number one?

Leisha Hailey (pictured right) from Showtime’s “The L Word,” a show that’s more than coincidentally about lesbians.

In fact, with Sarah Shahi at number five and Jennifer Beals at number six, three of the top-six women on the list are cast members on “The L Word,” all playing lesbian parts.

And that’s where the lesbian list loses its credibility along with the Maxim list, in my opinion. What, lesbians have no creativity? No culture? Apparently lesbians all watch a show about lesbians and think the cast is chock full of the hottest women on the planet. Or at least that’s what the list says.

Both men and lesbians are in complete agreement that Angelina Jolie and Scarlett Johansson are stunning as they appear at number two and number 12, respectively, for the lesbians and always rank high for the men.

Kate Winslet” is lesbian for “hot” as she ranks number three overall.

Other interesting names that ranked high on the list are Tina Fey at number seven, Natalie Portman at number 10 and Jodie Foster number 16.

In other gay news this week, a watchdog organization which tracks government spending uncovered a proposal to create a “gay bomb” which would turn enemy male soldiers into homosexuals so they would start having sex instead of fighting.

The proposal from the Air Force’s Wright Laboratory in Dayton, Ohio, suggested as a non-lethal weapon “strong aphrodisiacs, especially if the chemical also caused homosexual behavior.”

After reviewing the documents, Edward Hammond of Berkeley’s Sunshine Project said “The Ohio Air Force lab proposed that a bomb be developed that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soldiers to become gay, and to have their units break down because all their soldiers became irresistibly attractive to one another.

“The notion was that a chemical that would probably be pleasant in the human body in low quantities could be identified, and by virtue of either breathing or having their skin exposed to this chemical, the notion was that soldiers would become gay,” explained Hammond.

The story is unfortunately not a farce. And the proposal unfortunately came from Ohio.
