Pike Vandal Returns, Other Notes

Michigan Pike House

Someone despises the University of Michigan Pikes.

For the second time this week, their fraternity house was vandalized.

This time the Ann Arbor News reports a brother awoke to a fire alarm at 4:20 a.m. today and upon inspection, discovered somebody had sprayed a fire extinguisher all over the dining room.

The event happened just three days after the inside of the house was plastered with graffiti.

Michigan Pikes Infiltrated Yet Again

PikeThe Pi Kappa Alpha house at the University of Michigan was vandalized early Sunday morning according to an article published Monday by The Ann Arbor News.

The vandals broke in between 2 to 5 a.m. and used paint primer to write “(Explicative) frats — I don’t buy friends” on a large television, as well as “Mich sux” and “gay” on other surfaces. Damage was done to a cable box, CD player, memorabilia, trophies and photos of past fraternity members.

The report says the vandal or vandals entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.

The event occurred less than two months after a woman entered the same house uninvited during dinner and began masturbating as discussed in this blog here.

Sunny Days, Shivery Nights

Harbour TownTiffany and I arrived arrived in Hilton Head, S.C., the evening of Sunday, May 6, to clouds, a temperature somewhere in the 50s and 20-30 miles-per-hour winds.

We went online to view the island’s forecast for the next five days only to see: Showers More Showers Still More Showers You're screwed.

The one Perfect in the forecast was for Friday, the day we were leaving.

Weather back in our home city of Columbus was expected to be better than the weather in the Head.

The House That Vanderbilt Built

The BiltmoreThe Bilt-Hilt trip sadly is over. Tiffany and I returned late Friday night and after a weekend of true relaxation, or recovery depending on how you look at it, it’s back to work.

Between the Biltmore and Hilton Head island, we took more than 175 photos so it will take a day or two to trudge through the shots for Web site approval, cropping, uploading and the like.

So far I have been able to post photos from the Biltmore chapter of our trip which you can check out now in the photo section here.

The Biltmore experience was amazing. We left bright and early Saturday, May 5 for the 7 hour drive to Ashville, N.C., stopping only at The Party Source across the river from Cincy along the way to pick up some booze at cheap bluegrass prices.

Holiday Road To Hilton Head

Hilton Head LighthouseTomorrow Tiffany and I will be heading out of town for a well deserved break.

We’re traveling to Asheville, N.C., to visit the Biltmore, tour the estate, enjoy some freshly squeezed wine. Ah, it’ll be great. We’ll hit downtown Asheville Saturday night to check out the scene, crash at a hotel, then head to the southern Carolina and its Hilton Head island on Sunday for five nights on the beach.

I’ve got my sun block ready to go.

Because of the vacation, I will be writing no new blog posts until we return on May 12. Sad, I know.

However, when I arrive home, I’m sure I’ll have plenty of photos to bore you with to share and perhaps some funny highlights.

Stay tuned.

Tiffany, by the way, turned 26 yesterday. We had a mini celebration at B’s — thanks to those of you who came. So that means I have one more year before I’ll have to turn her in for a younger model.

Strippers Trade Poll For Podium

Ohio strippers are fighting for their right to fondle as a group of more than 20 exotic dancers protested passage of Senate Bill 16 yesterday during a press conference near the Statehouse.

The new bill proposes requiring six feet of space between dancers and customers inside of Ohio’s strip clubs.

The Dayton Daily News reported that the dancers, many dressed in pink T-shirts reading “Dancers for Democracy,” argued that the new legislation would prevent them from making a living and violate their constitutional right to free speech.
