20Q Knows Bo Jackson

20Q.netThe weekend was a bit slow with news I would normally touch on in this blog.

I refuse to bore you with my thoughts on my Cincinnati Bengals draft results or how Brady Quinn died a little inside when he was drafted by the Browns (just kidding Gerrit). And after the Virginia Tech incident, I really shouldn’t touch on the irony surrounding the Kansas City shootings which occurred directly in front of a Target store.

Actually, does a shooting incident in front of a Target store even qualify as irony? Let’s consult that Alanis Morissette song: “It’s like rain on your wedding day. It’s a free ride when you’ve already paid.” Now I remember my English teacher in high school lecturing us students about how nothing described within that song was in fact irony. I’m confused.

Anyway, I thought I’d share a site I came across last week at 20Q.net. It’s a free online game of 20 questions where you try to outsmart the site in the old-fashioned guessing game.

Each time somebody plays the game, the site remembers your answers and “learns” how to play better for the next round.

And besides classic 20 Questions, you can play a movie, sports, TV or music version.

I played a few times and the Web site guessed correctly on The Big Lebowski in 20Q Movies and Chris Sabo in 20Q Sports. And yes 20Q knows Bo Jackson. Go check it out.

  • A. Brady Quinn is lucky he got drafted in the first place. I’ll go on record as saying he will suck and I am the only one in Cleveland who thinks so right now. But… the Browns got him for a lot less money so if it doesn’t work out, we only lose next year’s #1. Next year’s #1 probably would have been a QB anyway and they would have had to pay a ton to sign him. So it’s not a bad deal at all. B. The Bengals draft sucked. Leon Hall got smoked by the only two NFL caliber recievers he played against last year. (T. Ginn & D. Jarrett) I think even B. Edwards can beat him unless he takes it easy on the guy because they are butt buddies from Michigan.

  • 20Q didn’t know who Brady Quinn was, but I think the fact that I was answering questions as him now being a Browns member threw it off.

Anyway, I agree the Bengals’ draft was… unexciting. We’ll see how the picks pan out. It’s not like any of the Bengals’ picks get to be mentored by Charlie Frye.
